A Write about a recent movie you have seen that you enjoyed, and why you liked it.

 I liked to watch the movie which is horror and mystery. The movie that I enjoyed the most is "The Conjuring". The movie is really amazing because the sound effects is really good, and it is realistic. The plot of the movie started with the little girl playing the Ouija board,  then horrible things started to happen. I would recommend this movie to you. 

B Write about a learning goal you have for yourself over the next year.

 My hobby is to draw and design, so my goal for next year is to learn more of architecture. Therefore, I started to visit the architecture like Taipei 101 or some others cool buildings.

C What effect do you think playing sports has on learning? How much do you think the mind and body work together?

 Sports affect us and learning. The reason is that it makes me be relax, so when I am studying my heart is really calm. Also sports can let me think more because you need to know when do you need to block or defend, and what will happen if you do this. It can simulate our brain to think more.

D What effect do you think playing a musical instrument has on learning a foreign language? What are some things you have noticed about good language learners? 

 Playing musical instrument can improve your mind. Learning a foreign language need to practice a lot, and musical instrument too. Everyone knows that nothing can be excellent if you didn't practice and work hard.

E Would you be willing to use an audio book plus a PDF file to read any of the following books next semester?

I prefer to read the physical book because if I don't have computer that I can't read, but if we use physical book I can read whenever I want.

Ender's Game:

1) Compare what you have seen or read in the Ender's Game book to whatever you have seen in the movie. Can you say a few differences in a scene or in the whole thing? What are some things the movie can do that the book cannot easily do? Or, what are some things the book does better, in your opinion?
     A: The differences between the book and the movie is that the movie can
show the viewers the actions of  Ender and Bonzo as the producer of the movie thinks we should see them. Therefore, when we watch the movie the producer is telling the story. However, when we read the novel we become the storyteller and our imagination allows us to create the actions how we want them to be. So, I personally think the movie is better because it gives me a clear view of  the story, allowing me to relax and enjoy the show.

A. MANIPULATION-why do adults always seem to lie to Ender in the story? Do you think adults always do this in real life? Is lying to people, especially younger people, a helpful thing?
 They lie to Ender because they were afraid that he don't want to be a leader. I think adults do this in real life because they want us to be better and don't be thinking that life is easy and comfortable.

B. COMPETITION-what is the purpose of organizing the young people into "armies" and having them fight each other in groups at battle school? Do you think competition between classmate is helpful?
  Organizing young people into "armies" can let us be better because we compete with each other. I think competition between classmates is not helpful because fighting cannot solve problems, we should do it in peace.

5) zong zi (sticky rice wrapped in bamboo)

9) I'm on a diet so don't ask me!

  The reason I liked the BBQ chicken the best is because they have there unique taste and smell than normal chicken, also 1 time per years, so we need to be enjoy!

Ender's Game
  We started to read the book "Ender's Game" in the start go 8th Grade.In the meantime we watch the movie of this book. The movie both have the positive and negative, the positive is that we can understand more, but the negative is that the book is more detail than the movie.Also there are something that I liked about the book keep reading I'll tell you!
  The reason I liked this novel that much is because the author makes it really creative, it is really interesting!If your choosing a novel to read then I will recommend this book to you!
